Survivor Football also known as Last Man Standing Pools, Suicide Pools, Eliminator Pools and Knockout Pools. This is a very simple game. You pay once and you pick one team every week that you think will win their game that week. No point spreads are involved. If your team wins .... you survive, if not .... go directly to the LOSERS bracket. Lose twice YOU'RE DONE!!!! When only one person survives - they are the WINNER!!

The Survivor pool comes in 2 flavors 1)Addon part of the ELOP weekly pickum 2) stand alone pool. If you are playing the weekly pickum and choose not to take part n the survivor pool please select "No Thanks" in the Team selection list. You will only be asked once. If you opt out you will not be able to enter the survivor pool this season. If you selected "No Thanks" by mistake and it is before the first game of week one(1) contact us and we will reset it for you. If do only would like to play the survivor pool and not the weekly pickum you will be given that option at setup.

How Do Survivor Pools Work?
Quick and Dirty rules for our ELOP NFL Survivor pools:
Each pool member chooses one NFL team each week.
You may only select the same team twice per NFL season
Picks are made "straight up", not using a point spread system.
If your pick is correct, you survive until the next week.
Your first incorrect pick elimates you from the Winners Bracket(80% of the Pot) and sends you to the Losers Bracket(second chance)(20% of the Pot)
Your second incorrect pick eliminates the player from the pool for the remainder of the season.
The goal is to be the last member standing at the end of the season in the winners bracket.

LOSERS bracket - This is your last chance. You play the same way in the LOSERS bracket until you pick a loser again. If the team you pick loses or ties again .... You're done.


Stakes - $5.00 (One time registration fee per entry).
You may select up to 3 separate survivor picks (playing all 3 will cost $15 one time fee)
WINNER's Bracket Jackpot - 80% of the total
LOSER's Bracket Jackpot - 20% of the total

DETAILED RULES


1. Cutoff for making your survivor picks is 30 minutes before the start of the first game of each week.
2. All Ties count as losses.
3. You may pick a different team each week if you desire - the only requirement is that they win the game.
3. You may only pick the same team twice per NFL season. You can pick them twice in a row or spread it out but you cannot pick a team more than two (2) times until the playoffs start. Once the playoffs start you may pick the same team multiple times - even if you have already picked them twice during the regular season.
4. You MUST pick one, and only one team every week. If you don't submit a pick for any given week the system will select a random a pick for that week and it will result in a loss. (See "Random Save")
5. If winner's have not been determined by the end of the regular season, each round of the playoffs will be considered another week.
6. If more than one team survives into the Superbowl for either the Winners or Losers bracket, the winner will be determined by the following tie breakers:

Winning Team
If there is a tie at the end of the tiebreakers the pot(s) will be split amongst the winners.

7. If at any time during the season (except for Superbowl week) everyone left in the Winners Bracket picks incorrectly during any week, except for the Superbowl week, they will all drop into Losers Bracket. This means that the players in the Losers Bracket would once again have a shot at the 1st place prize.

"Random Save": If at any time you do not get you Pickum or survivor picks in by the weekly first game deadline the system will automatically select a winner for each game in the pickum and a random team for the survivor addon. The survivor selection cannot be changed once the first game of the week starts. Any Pickum game that has not started yet can be changed.
